LAI Short Course

Through a partnership between UMiami, UCSD, and NOAA/PIFSC, we have developed an online short course in Large Area Image data acquisition and basic processing. The course runs over 3 weeks and includes about 10 hours of pre-recorded lectures and 4-6 hours of live, online group meetings. The course has two primary goals.

The course has two primary goals. First, we want to emphasize the important parts of data acquisition that are necessary to successfuly use LAI, regardless of your objectives, as well as illustrate those parts of the process that can (should) be tuned to meet your specific needs. Second, we want to build community of people using this technology so that we can learn from each other as well as learn to trust one another enough to cooperate so that we all may achieve a larger, regional to global perspective.
