Weather:  Mostly cloudy in early morning with wind around 10 knots.  By mid morning completely cloudy and data collection was stopped for a couple hours.  Around 13:00 local clouds beginning to break and data collection resumed.  Wind still at 10 knots from west and marine layer present.  Mostly sunny by 14:30 local, but some stray clouds present.  Winds increasing to 16 – 18 knots.

Instrumentation used:  Sky camera system was run from 15:45 GMT – 16:45 GMT and 20:15 GMT – 22:15 GMT and 00:30 GMT – 01:30 GMT (September 15, 2008).  Images were taken in cycles that took 1 image with each appropriate spectral filter and polarizer combination.  A typical cycle took about 6 minutes to complete and cycles were started every 15 minutes. 

Microtops sunphotometers were also taken every 15 minutes corresponding to the previous 2 instruments’ sampling schedule.  The microtops were taken from 20:30 GMT – 01:00 GMT (September 15, 2008).
